Project 3 - Final Assignment
This assignment is to design a studio for the chosen faded culture, CANTONESE OPERA. Studio must include major space and minor space.
My studio named "The Opera".
MAJOR SPACE-
Gallery, Showcase, Materials Gallery, Workshop, Stage, Try-able Wardrobe.
MINOR SPACE-
Artist rest area, Storeroom, Pantry, Washroom.
In this assignment, I had given a change to study site analysis.
Site analysis is important because it will help me to do the right decision in design and choosing material.
Two main roles in CANTONESE OPERA:
MOU- Marital Arts, Warrior
MAN- Highly Educated
MOU is main to be STRAIGHT FORWARD, MAN plays tend to be more GENTLER and ELEGANT.
In my design included the characteristic of two main roles.
Combined DIRECTIONAL + WAVY.
I planed a few activities for the studio to attract people.
Customer could watch the opera show and dress up like an opera actor in the try-able wardrobe. They are able to sign courses too.
